句子的流畅（国际商务英语函电）

为了确保函电中句子的流畅，最好避免连用短而零散的句子。虽然每一个零散句较短，但势必要重复前面的句子中某些成分。比较：

We wrote a letter. It was addressed to Mr.Henry. He is the Sales Manager.

We wrote a letter to Mr.Henry, the Sales Manager.

零散句往往使读者不能在各个意思中间找到其内在的联系，而且也难使读者分出哪是最重要的意思。比较：

Successful goal - setting is not easy. It is a process in which we continually evaluate our objectives.

In successful goal - setting, we continually evaluate our objectives.
